A firestop is a sealing installation in vertical or horizonal service opening for stopping fire propagation through the opening. Normally these openings may have services like ducts, electrical cable, cable tray, Cable bundle or PPR pipes or metallic pipes etc. These openings, if not sealed with firestop, it works as path for fire propagation from room to room or floor to floor.

A fire stop should have same fire resistance as the fire resistance of the floor or wall or dry wall, where the opening lies. Fire resistances are measured as 1 hr to 4 hrs. Some firestops are smoke seal also. Besides these opening, the joint gaps are also sealed for preventing fire propagations.

Our supplied firestops material are classified by UL1479 or FM4990 or UL-EU . We select material and designs that is best suitable for the situation and also is either a listed design or certified under UL-EU or EN.

We supply Firestop material like fire mortar, coated board, sealant based system, foam system, composite boards and devices like intumescent collar etc. Our tested designs can cover large opening and multiple service items without Engineering Judgement.

The Joints gaps between walls, floors, floor and walls are sealed with tested designs system as per UL 2079 ASTM E 1966. Curtain wall joint/ perimeter seal is covered under ASTM E 2307.
